The CEREX system is available in two sizes:

• Single system

350 - 500 kg/hr

• Double system

700 - 1000 kg/hr

The capacity of the plant varies according to the raw material.The indications above are approximate values.

The steel platform and the expansion conduit of the single and double version are built the same. The customer may therefore easily extend the plant to a double version at a later stage without requiring additional space and without having to interrupt the production.

• The system can be used for the puffing of cereals (such as wheat, oat, rice, maize, spelt, barley, rye), extruded and dried pellets, and many other granular products with a humidity content of 10% to 14% (e.g. amaranth, seeds and leguminous products, tobacco, coffee, etc.).

• The bulk density of the puffed product can be set easily and reproduced precisely as required.

• The process is both highly stable and easy to adapt to various different products.

• High flexibility: product changeovers are carried out in a matter of minutes - without waste.

• CEREX can also supply, on request, a wide range of engineering and technology services designed to cover the system upstream and downstream of the puffing prcess, and for in-house infrastructure relating to such items as steam, condensate, compressed air and power.
